Although it is not required, students may find it helpful to have reviewed a current rules based decisioning process within their company. Students who wish to build a custom business rule tree or decisioning process will be required to complete rule tree worksheets prior to the first day of class. A sample dataset will be needed to validate, trace and debug the student's customized rule tree.
This course is designed to train students on providing a solid understanding of rule tree design and how to apply rule trees to common business decision scenarios.
This course consists of a combination of instruction, examples and hands-on exercises using DecisionBuilder™ Designer module, accompanied with training manual exercises. The course will focus on creating rule tree expressions, variables, rules, reports, validation and tracing along with integrating analytics to achieve optimal results.
The agenda includes:
- Reviewing & discussing business decisioning issues, business logic, rule tree structures & decisioning processes.
- Istruction and examples of defining and building Rule Trees within DecisionBuilder™ Designer module.
- Rule Tree development with exercises focused on more complex logic & design including integrating predictive models into the decision process.
