ScorXPRESS® is a fraud detection solution that embeds powerful technologies, like statistics and neural networks, within a unique automated process for the development of custom tailored fraud models. Using fraud model scores in combination with configurable business rules adds a critical layer of protection to an overall fraud management strategy. Scoring models and business rules can be easily integrated into most application and transaction processing systems, making ScorXPRESS® a valuable addition to your current fraud management system. For more details on ScorXPRESS® please download the ScorXPRESS® product information sheet.
No, ScorXPRESS® is software that you purchase and install within your organization. Unlike service based third party offerings, there are no repetitive or ongoing transaction fees and no multi-year usage commitments.
ASA support consists of training, ROI Modeling, and implementation services to integrate ScorXPRESS® models into your fraud management systems. We can also assist in helping your organization develop a robust fraud prevention strategy.
ScorXPRESS® uses your historical data and outside data such as credit histories. The technologies that ScorXPRESS® employs search for relationships and patterns in past history that cannot be found using other methods. The amount and type of data you need depends on the type of fraud model you are building. For example, application fraud models typically use previous application histories, which include fraudulent and non-fraudulent applications, and credit histories.
Yes, in fact, the more portfolios that you manage, or distinct audiences that you cater to, the greater the ROI. Because ScorXPRESS® is software, not a subscription or database search, your organization can build many fraud prevention models. There is no limit to the number of models you can build and deploy.
ScorXPRESS® has an optional rules component that lets you add another layer of protection. Rules can be as tailored or complex as necessary to handles things like, localized or 'hot spot' fraud, client specific processing requirements, additional checkpoints or comparisons, or to capture additional knowledge. As transactions come through, each one is scored for the likelihood of fraud and rules are applied to determine the disposition of the transaction. Transactions can include a new credit application, an authorization request, etc.
There are two steps to getting started. The first is building fraud models and the second is deploying fraud models within your processing system. ASA can assist in building the initial fraud models for you and verify the expected ROI. Using our QuickStart program, our technical team will review your system requirements and develop a model deployment program that will put your models and rules into production quickly and efficiently.
