Bill Gossman
Chief Executive Officer, ASA Corp.
Prior to starting ASA, Bill helped grow and guide one of the software
industry's most successful companies, LEGENT, which is now part of
Computer Associates. He is experienced at managing in a high
growth environment, building a winning organization, and maintaining a
competitive edge. Bill built a vast knowledge base of the
software industry, having served in high-level sales, systems
engineering, and management positions with LEGENT, Memorex, Mobay
Chemical and Mellon Bank. During his 11 years with LEGENT (formerly
Duquesne Systems and now part of CA) the company grew from less than
$1M in annual revenue to over $150M. During this time he served
in a number of roles including Vice President of Corporate Marketing
and Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Glen Chatfield
CEO, OPTIMUM Power Technology
Glen has 37 years of software and engineering experience. In 1970, Glen
founded Duquesne Systems, one of the world’s pioneer computer software
companies. Under his leadership, Duquesne Systems became
Pennsylvania’s 1st publicly traded software company. In 1989,
Duquesne Systems merged to form LEGENT Corporation with Glen. as its
Chief Executive Officer. In 1995 LEGENT was sold to Computer
Associates for $2.1 billion. Glen holds various engine, software
optimization, engine management and engine calibration patents.
He has co-authored papers presented to the SAE and IMechE. Mr.
Chatfield’s hobby is FIM World’s Championship Motorcycle Racing. Glen
earned a BS degree in Engineering Science from The Pennsylvania State
University. In 1995 he was the recipient of the University’s
‘Alumni Fellow’ award, the highest honor bestowed on an alumni.

Gary Glausser
Partner, Birchmere Ventures
Gary has over 20 years experience in venture capital, investing,
financial management, and public accounting. In addition to his role as
Fund CFO, Gary is responsible for sourcing, researching, evaluating,
structuring, negotiating, mentoring and exiting investments. Prior to
co-founding Birchmere Ventures, Gary was a General Partner of CEO
Venture Fund. He was previously Vice President at Westinghouse Credit
in the Corporate Capital Division. Gary started his career at
PriceWaterhouse were he authored a book on the topic of mergers and
acquisitions. Gary is a director of ASA Corp., Precision Therapeutics,
and Renal Solutions. Gary is also a former board member and past
President of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association, President of
Financial Executives International—Pittsburgh Chapter, and a board
member of the Association for Corporate Growth. Gary received a
B.S. from John Carroll University and an M.B.A. from the University of
Pittsburgh. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
